Home Sweet Home

I can hardly believe that I am home and it's DECEMBER... the end of the year... wow time flies when you are having fun! So I was able to surprise my whole family minus my dad because I let him in on my big secret of coming home! I have know for about 3 months that I would be able to come home for a short break in December but I thought it would be really fun to make it a BIG surprise for most of my family so I kept it a secret and just had them all believe that they would see my face after my trip to Australia which would be in February!
Oh boy did I surprise them all!!
I had a very VERY long couple of travel days leaving from Surabaya, Indonesia to get to my small home town of Eagle, Colorado. When I finally arrived in the -8 degree weather without any winter clothes my mission had begun... how to surprise my mom!! My dad picked me up from the airport and we talked of a game plan... we made a decision... I would show up at her work... PERFECTION!
If you didn't already know my mom works at a middle school as a librarian, dad and I made sure to contact her boss (The Principle) and ask her if she could help us pull off the best surprise and Christmas Present, she was delighted and of course helped us! So I stuck into the school and went into the back office and sat at the large desk. We had the ladies who work at the front of the office call my mom to the office claiming that her boss needed to have a couple of words with her...HAHAHAHA... she had no idea that I would be sitting right in her bosses desk... Brilliant so far huh! The blinds of the room were shut and one of mom's co- workers had a video camera ready to capture the surprise! I was so excited to see my mommy... she walked into the room and had a confused face on... she said that she thought at the time that she would be getting fired or something... poor lady! She finally noticed the familiar face at the desk and slightly screamed! She was overtaken by emotion to finally see her world traveler so the tears, of course, began to flow! It was so so wonderful to finally get to hug my mommy! I am pretty sure she was relieved as well to finally hug me and see me in really life instead of just through a computer screen! Mission #1 accomplished!! Next of course was my sister... she was schedule to go to a dentist appointment so she would be expecting a call from the office to collect her stuff and check out BUT she would not be expecting MEEE! I stood in the office with my back to the entrance (pretending to do paper work) and she walked in and headed to the sign out sheet near the door. I walked over to the sign out sheet where she was and bumped into her to also "sign out" she backup and said "Oh sorry ma'am, excuse me" all polite and then she was just staring at my profile with the most confused look on her face, she said that at that moment she thought she was dreaming or going crazy, she didn't really move till I turned to her and said "Hey! What's up Syders?" then she practically tackled me with the biggest hug and repeatedly kept saying "Why are you here? How are you here?" It was one of the best moments! I really enjoyed surprising my mother and baby sister! Merry Christmas Mommy and Syders! Through out the rest of that day I was able to surprise many more of my family member and see such fun expressions from all of them! I am planning on enjoying this cold and snowy weather to the fullest before I head to the other side of the world once again to Perth, Australia! I can not wait to spend more time with my family and friends! I have missed them all so much! Merry Christmas to all and please do not forget the real meaning of Christmas, how blessed we are to have a Savior and elder brother, Jesus Christ!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!

XOXOXO's

These are the days of "My" life

We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.”– Jawaharial Nehru

Family! Friends! My eyes have been very open the past six months, more than ever before in my life. I feel so blessed to have had and continue to have this opportunity to experience so many wonderful adventures and to have meet so many incredible people along the way! Thanks to all that have continued to support me with email, letters, facebook messages and Skype. I hope you know how happy it makes me to hear from all of you! I love and miss you sooo much!

So... I have done a ton since the last post. So much craziness! Forgive me for not updating this blog of mine, sorry!

The Grand Palace

Let's start from the top... Thailand, ABSOLUTELY incredible! The first week in Bangkok  was really nice and very relaxing! Many of us ventured around the city to see the beautiful temples located right around our hotel. The Grand Palace was by far my very favorite! I loved the traditional structure, detail and beauty!

At many of these temples a dress code is required. They provided us with wraps(long skirts) to fulfill the required code. Mine was so beautiful I wanted to take it home!
Later that week about ten of us went on a day tour to the Floating Market,
Floating Market
an elephant camp, the Tiger Temple, and a WWII museum! It was such an eventful day with tons of pictures taken. My favorite part, of course, was the Tiger Temple!
Tiger Temple
There I was able to watch tigers run and play as well as pet them and take pictures with them! It was so fun! I  don't think I will ever be satisfied with a normal zoo again hahaha! That day I saw and touched more wild animals than I have ever seen before in my life! It was AWESOME!

The next week in Bangkok went well with all the shows and learning the show in Thai. Actually that was hard! Strangely enough I kept singing the songs in Chinese instead of Thai. Never thought that would be a default language of mine...hahaha... weird! We performed about eleven shows and all went well!

Week three was absolutely AMAAAZINGGGG!  I took a side trip to Chiangmai, Thailand which is way up north in the jungles of the country! I packed only a backpack with limited clothes and things I really needed, like TP! The first day we arrived we stayed at a cute little backpackers inn and ventured around Chiangmai a little. The next morning we woke up and headed out for the Jungle Trek!
Our tour guides name was "Jungle King" or "Simmons" so we called him a mix of the two... "Jungle Simmon".
Jungle Simmon
He was quite the character, leading us through the jungle with his machete in hand! Through out the three days we hiked a ton in the amazing jungle, showered in waterfalls, rode elephants, ate amazing food prepared by the locals, rode on bamboo rafts, and made friends with other backpackers! The trip was amazing... Minus my really badly sprained ankle ;(

I love elephants!

The last week in Bangkok was again very chill. I had some much need down time to rest and ice my ankle.(its great now) I really love Thailand!

Next I headed back to Singapore! This was such a blessing because I was able to meet back up with my special friends that I made there before! The shows went great in the amazing Marina Bay Sands Theater, so beautiful! The week following our shows I hung out with my Singaporean buddies. I was able to go on a few dates, laughed a lot, eat great food, including kangaroo and crocodile!
Wong Wei and I
I was also able to go to church again. Oh my, I sooo needed this! I love the ward so much and hope that someday I will be able to see them all again! I am so grateful for the friendships I made in Singapore. I love them all so much! I LOVE SINGAPORE!

Sorry this is such a long post... So much to tell so little time and space!

Now I am here in Jakarta, Indonesia. I'm just not too sure about this place. Not very welcoming to Americans, let alone women! I plan on staying in the hotel, not doing much. I am grateful for the internet to keep me entertained.  ("...I have also found one of the best Internet people ever during my time out here..." haha ;)) NOW IS THE TIME TO MESSAGE, EMAIL OR SKYPE ME! I will only be here for four or five more days and I pray they go bye quickly. Then I can move to the next city here in Indonesia! Cross your fingers that it will be more welcoming...please. :-)

I hope you are all well. I love and miss you so, so much!

Love your Disney Friend :)

The Great Adventure!

The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.  ~St. Augustine

How true this quote really is! The world is a book with endless pages and I get to turn several pages and live every story to my fullest! I am continuously learning and growing from the experience I am having while being in Asia on tour with some of the best people I could ask for!
I am currently in Bangkok Thailand. I have not seen much yet, I just arrived yesterday!  I really can’t wait to dive into the culture and learn more about this amazing part of the world!
Sooooo let me catch you up to speed… it's been a while. (sorry) I have now been to China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Philippines! All were extremely different from one another and each has memories that I will always keep close to my heart!
When I was in Singapore I was able to meet some amazing young people that I now call my friends. I cannot wait to see them again in November when I return! I was able to go to Sentosa Island while I was there. Sentosa Island is like a mini theme park with lots to do. My favorite was just relaxing on the beach looking at the amazing water and enjoying the sand between my toes... Ahhh one of my new favorite things for sure! The venue we performed at happened to be hosting The Lion King as well. Made me realize how official and amazing my job is...very cool! I am so blessed to be dancing with such a wonderful company that travels to amazing places and is so well known!
Next was Cebu City Philippines! On arrival to my hotel room I received a great surprise!! Do you know what it was? Yep that's right the Cebu City Temple, staring right at me through my big picture window!  So amazing!! I was able to go and feel the sweet spirit of the Savior. How grateful I am for temples.  Cebu City reminded me a lot of when I was in Peru, third world kind of, chickens and dogs everywhere! The hotel we stayed in was great and I really felt at home! I was also able to go to another island close by called Bohol. I was able to see some amazing things and places, like the Tarsier. (It’s an animal. Look it up, it’s awesome)
The Chocolate Mountains,
butterflies, and beautiful churches! I also went on a zip line across a valley, screaming the whole way!! I’m sure the creatures in the valley ran like never before in fear of this screaming banshee flying over their heads. I also played some guitar with the locals. So fun!Our shows went well there as well. Then we headed to Manila. We had the first week off in Manila so I didn't stay there for long. I headed off for a “Girls trip” to the island of Boracay! Wow-o-wow… it was so beautiful (of course once the typhoon passed). Yes a typhoon, similar to a hurricane! No big deal just buckets of rain and winds up to a million miles per hour. Ok not really a million miles per hour but strong enough to make the Palm trees lay sideways!  We stayed at a cute little place called the Lazy Dog. There was even a dog named “Whiskey” who lived there. We chilled in the white sand and played in the turquoise blue salty water for hours, jumping and diving over the awesome waves! I really enjoyed having sand in my pants for that whole week... Not! Gross Ashley! But really it was an amazing vacation that I will never forget and I was really able to bond with some of the girls from my cast which was so needed! One of the best things I did while I was there was snorkel for the first time. I enjoyed it so much I went twice. The underwater creatures are so amazing; playing with star fish, some of them even looked like they had chocolate chips sprinkled on top of them!! Yep, that was my favorite I think. I hope I can return to Boracay someday, I would love that! Everything and everyone was so great, what a peaceful yet exciting vacation!
Now back to Manila…vacation is over and time to work. Now when I say time to work I mean it, thirteen shows in 5 days! Killer! The casting director came to watch which added some extra pressure, good pressure, to perform to the best of my ability! The shows were going great and then several people in the cast and crew started to get sick. This meant others had to step up to the plate and cover...and yes that included me! The fifth to last show of the weekend I learned a couple more dances and added some formation changes, only 15mins before show time. Talk about stressful. I myself started to get sick with a cold but was able to hang in there. This job sure is a dream come true but I tell you what... it’s not fun being millions of miles away from your mom when you are sick and also lacking some of the medicines that you usually take. I miss my mommy! I need my bed and some chicken noodle soup please! It was very rewarding to finish all the shows Sunday night. Thank goodness I have the first week off in Thailand…time to recover!
Well, here I am in Thailand and I am very excited to see what it has to offer! Hopefully I will have some wonderful experiences to share after my three weeks here.
I really am enjoying myself and loving this blessing! I pray for all of you that are following, that you are well and SMILING OFTEN! See you soon...ish!

Lots of love from your world traveler!

It's been a while...

Hey Everyone! I'm sure most of you know that I am now out of China... oh happy day! I really loved my time in China and can not wait to share many of the stories I have from that crazy world that I lived in for two months! Since I last posted on my blog I have moved quite a bit! I finished in Guangzhou, China and really enjoyed my time there then we headed for Hong Kong! hong Kong was absolutely amazing, what a fun city with such nice people! I loved where we stayed in H.K. Because it was right on the board walk that is part of Victoria's Harbor! Wow it was beautiful in so many ways... The water... The tropical mountains, the city lights at nigh... the shopping... The friends that I met there! It was a great experience and I hope to travel back there someday! After wonderful Hong Kong I official said goodbye to China and headed to Singapore! I am currently in Singapore and absolutely love it! It is such an amazing place, so clean, great people, great food, different cultures... LOVE IT!

I had a week off here in Singapore and I was able to go to the beach several times which was so relaxing and peaceful! I was able to get some color and swim in salt water! It was just amazing! Now the work wee has begun and it is a very packed week with 13 shows and filmings and PR's! My body is already feeling it after the first four shows...nine more to go... I'm almost done here in China...Can you believe it?

Hey everyone guess what I am still alive! Can you believe it? I only have one more city left here in China, Guangzhou and then its off to Hong Kong the last week of August. Time is really flying bye! I can't believe that I have had the opportunity to visit nine cities here in China! (Xi'an, Beijing,Nanjijg, Changhouz, Wuxi, Suzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou) Each city has been amazing in its own unique way. I have been blessed to see many beautiful places and meet many wonderful people. However if I had to pick one city as my favorite it would have to be Shanghai! Shanghai is such a beautiful city, with amazing buildings of all shapes and sizes. There is a river that runs through the city and separates the older buildings from the newer buildings. This makes it very interesting no matter which side you choose to explore! One of my favorite evenings in Shanghai was when some of the cast and I went out to an exclusive and very hip night club. This club  was on the top of one of the older buildings in the city! It was amazing to look out over the cityscape all lit up and the barges down on the water below lit in so many beautiful colors. It was so beautiful! The club was crazy cool and the music was great! I danced the night away and really enjoyed spending time with my friends. The worse part was the price for a single can of Sprite... Grrr! Fun time for all and we left with some great pictures!

The city of Hangzhou has been quite a treat. This city is different from most cities in China. There is a beautiful lake in the center of it called West Lake. A trip around the lake is about 14 miles with many sites to see along the way. My friends and I decided we wanted to take it all in and enjoy this beautiful place by going on a self guided bike tour! Our adventure started down town at the bike rental place. Can you believe to rent a bike for the whole day it was only 10RMB, about $2!!  SWEETNESS! So we biked and really enjoyed our time looking at the tea houses, temples and lily pad ponds. Of course we enjoyed riding our lovely, no brakes, bell ringing, brightly colored, clown looking, dirty bikes! After a very long ride and dripping
gallons of sweat we decided to return our AMAZING bikes back to the shop.  I had no idea that I was going to be risking my life to return this  $2 bike but I did! As we left the path that circled the lake to head into town I realized quickly that I would be gaining yet another perspective of China and how the Chinese function...  OH MY GOSH!! CHINESE TRAFFIC!!!! Man, it was terrifying! I had cars on either side of me, scooters honking at me wanting to pass even though there was no where for them to go! I didn't think I had any sweat left but I was sweating profusely now! Luckily... I had my handy dandy bell! Yes, a bell like the ones we had when we were toddlers. That bell saved my life a couple of times! Cars would be zooming at us as we crossed the street but we all just rang our bells or screamed like crazy people. Both seemed to get people's attention, it was quite a site I'm sure. Six white people riding clown bikes ringing bells and screaming! It was a rush and now that it is all said and done, surprisingly very fun. Of course I was being careful ;) We made it to the bike return safe and soaking wet! Time for dinner...we worked hard!

Another adventure here in Hangzhou was going and taking yoga at the largest yoga center in China! We took a taxi there and to our surprise we were going to the top of a mountain!
They have mountains, well kinda. They are beautiful but I sure do love those Colorado mountains sooo much more! (the mountains have made me a little home sick while I've been here.) We got to the top and there was a Chinese styled house set beautifully in a jungle of tropical trees and plants! It was spectacular, enhanced by the fresh cool rainfall. The yoga studio was so peaceful and smelled of fresh cedar! Our instructor came in and taught the class in mostly Chinese but would add some English every now and then so that we wouldn't be completely lost! It was so relaxing and helped my body so much. I think I will try to take more yoga when I return home!

I am really enjoying my job... Today was our last show here in Hangzhou and during the finale there was a little girl with her chin on the stage just staring straight at me with a huge smile and great big eyes. She made me feel so good! Moments like these confirm to me the real reason I am apart of this great tour and company! I know that I make a difference for these children, adding some light into their day, week or maybe even their life! I hope I won't ever forget the feeling I get when I see and hear them cheering! I just love these children and  their smiles so much!

I really do miss you all so much and pray for you all every day! Hey, remember to stay in touch if you can.

A little windy up here.
I love getting emails if and when I have internet! Enjoy a sunny day with blue skies for me! (I don't get to see them very much here in China)! Here are some pics for you...hope you like!

Love,

A WHOLE Month Already

July 24, 2011

Can you believe it's been a WHOLE month since I left the United States?! I have been in Xian, Beijing, Nanjing, and Changzhou! I have a couple more weeks here in China, then to Hong Kong for a bit and then to Singapore. This trip has been so great, of course it has had it's ups and downs. I have struggled with minor injuries, "China-belly"(stomach issues), a cold, stress, crazy heat and of course sore muscles. However these small trial have taught me how to take better care of myself and have taught me to continue to press forward. Things will always get better just like the sun always rises to start a new day!
I have performed the show about 30+ times and I still love every single second. I can not even begin to tell you how much I love being on stage, it certainly is my HOME, my PEACEFUL PLACE, my PASSION'S SERENITY! This opportunity is truly a blessing from a loving Heavenly Father showing that he knows everything about ME and that he LOVES ME so much! I couldn't ask for a better experience. I know this is where I am suppose to be right now in my life! My very favorite part of this is seeing all the beautiful faces in the audience, getting up and dancing with the cast! We are bringing  magic to those less fortunate. I liken this opportunity to a 14 month service project. I get to make a child's day and maybe even the adults, too! So amazing and I am filled with joy after every show!
I have some random thoughts and stories from my experience that I think are worth sharing. Sorry if maybe they don't seem all that interesting to you or funny but if you were here in my shoes I think you would appreciate them too!
Here in China they are wired completely differently then Americans which makes their human habits very interesting...hahaha. Spacing for insistence, they have none! Chinese truly have no idea what personal space is. There is no such thing as "my bubble" or "your bubble." It is very hard to get use to someone always standing on top of you. To be honest...it drives me crazy!!! Forget standing in line...someone always is cutting in. It's a race to see who can get there items to the counter at a store to be rung up first. The cashier just rings up who they want to when they want to. In one of my hotels I decided to call room service, in America calling room service is no big deal, doesn't waste energy, cause stress or any craziness, right? Well... here in China it cause LOTS of stress, anxiety, frustration, cold sweats, ahhhh! A simple question can cause a total nightmare! Soooo...here's an example. I called room service and of course I heard the small Asian voice on the line say "ni Hao" and then some more Chinese. I said "ni Hao, hello, could you by chance bring me a spoon?" The maid had taken my other one and I needed it to spread my peanut butter! So the lady said
"ummm wha...you... need?" "I need a spoon, please." "Spun?" "Yeah a SPPOOOONNN." "O...O.. OK I ask manager." "WHAT?" ( I had no idea it would take the manager's permission to get me a spoon?) Then she came back to the phone and was like... "Ummm, ni Hao... Spell it?" I really wanted to spell "it" (haha) but I knew that I would be wasting time and detour from my main goal which was getting a spoon to spread peanut butter on my bread so that I could eat it!! So I spelled "spoon" to her. She said 'ok!' Click...she hung up! Ummm...ok, well I guess no spoon for Ashley today! About 10 minutes later my door bell rang and to my surprise there was my favorite waiter... Karl(yes his name is Karl, lol)... from breakfast. He was standing there presenting a large platter draped with very nice cloth and in the center sat a tiny little tea spoon just for me. Oh man I just laughed out loud and said thank you so much! All that for a spoon! I have had to spell things over the phone a couple times. I totally rock at charades now too! I know a little bit of Chinese however it's mostly Disney related which really gets me NO where!
China really has been quite an experience in many ways and I think there has been several things that have changed the way I view life. I have enjoyed it but, I  have to say, there is nothing quite like being at home with a comfy bed, western toilet, fresh air, blue sky's, and of course My FaMILY and FrIeNDs! I have been home sick a couple of times but over all I am doing ok! I think I am learning a lot about myself which is so so good and my testimony is growing everyday!
I have also come to gain a great appreciation for technology. I know that Heavenly Father has blessed us with technology not only to communicate with others about important topics such as the gospel of Jesus Christ but I think he knows, especially in situations like mine, it is important that we have connections back home to our families and friends. I have needed support when I am struggling or just needed to talk with someone close so that I feel peace, love and comfort, without the technology of today this would have been very difficult. I also think that He is showing mercy to my mom! Without a good form of communication, I don't think I would be here... (love ya mom ;))!
I know that my Heavenly Father personally knows me and loves me. I know that because He was willing to let his son, Jesus Christ, die for us that we can return home to Him. I am so blessed and will be eternally grateful for my knowledge of His gospel that I love so much! I am so grateful to ALL of you that are praying for me and my safety everyday. You have helped me through so much already! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! This is my testimony and I leave it with you in His name, Jesus Christ. Amen.

I really hope all of you are well and enjoying this great summer! Let me know how you are? Send me your testimony or a simple hello? It might take me a bit to get to you but I will... I promise! Miss and love you all! Thanks for reading the blog... It's pretty fun to have "followers" hahaha!

Much Love from across the World!

From Xi'an, China

To start, I am terribly sorry that I have not updated my blog in awhile, its blocked here in China :( Let's get caught up! This first city in China is really great I love ALMoST everything here! I arrived here Saturday and we went straight to the hotel, which is so beautiful... I feel like royalty here! We all crashed pretty hard the first night (for awhile) then jet lag set in...waking up at 3 or 4 in the morning feeling completely awake! Not so fun!
But we are adjusting well or at least I'm am now. So Sunday came the first day in China and some of my co workers and I decided to go site seeing. We went to the Emperor Qinshihuang Mausoleum Site Museum with all the warriors!
So cool! I  had a whole history lesson that day which was so fun! I think the funnest part of the day was the amount of people that asked to take pictures with US because we are Americans! Pretty fun stuff!
Monday... Started off with a cast meeting and a safety lesson by our security guard. (He looks like Liam from the movie Taken) Sooo I feel pretty safe when he's around! Then we all met with our language coach to learn the script in Chinese. Wow that was quite a challenge and I still have a lot of practicing to do before our first show! Tuesday was like that again... All Chinese! This education that I am getting here is fantastic couldn't ask for anything better! Wednesday through Friday were spent in a studio that is so beautiful!

Wow I can hardly explain how good it felt to be in a studio again. I think it's my home away from home for sure! I love to dance so much! I was in the studio from about 9-5 learning the whole show piece by piece, it ROCKED! I love my job so much! It really is a dream come true! My body and brain were fried by Friday night along with some of my co workers bodies and brains, too.

We decided to find a spa for a massage. Well... I had a feeling it was probably going to be an adventure! (I somewhat prepared myself) We found the spa and had some interesting things happen. When I finally laid down to get the massages...(I was ready for a nice relaxing time) yeah, forget about the nice...relaxing part... I got slapped! Yep she slapped my arms, my legs, and the rest of me! Not relaxing at all! I think the lady also played crack the egg on my head about a dozen times. Not cool at all. All I could do is laugh. The worst part was while I was being slapped my friend Scott was next to me getting his belly rubbed while being hand feed watermelon by one of the ladies. What the heck! It did end well with a foot and neck massage by a different lady. At least I left the place happy! Not the ideal massage but a fun story!

Saturday... Studio time with the whole cast rocked because I could finally piece together and make sense of everything I had learned during the  week. The puzzle pieces were finally coming together to create an amazing show that will bring many smiles to many people! Then after a long day of rehearsal and blocking most the cast cleaned up and got ready for a night on the town...

We went and had great food at a real restaurant. Ahhhh real food! I got stake....mm mm hmmm! Oh and CHEESECAKE! YUM!

Then we went out dancing afterwards which was a blast! Sometimes we would have the whole floor to ourselves! LOVED IT!
Over all this experience has been INCREDIBLE! I promise I am doing well and loving my job and the people I work with! To stay in touch email me at...

Only 2 Weeks...AHHHH!

Well to start out... I got a fun hair cut that I am loving... Next this weekend was absolutly amazing, I was able to make so many memories with my family and friends! Yesterday my family and I went up to Vail to watch my sister perform in a cute little show... she sang so well!! AHHH so cute!

It was so fun to see my baby sis up on a stage... that is were us Wiemer girls belong I think! As a family we all walked around cute little Vail and took some really fun pictures... I love pictures! We made sure that we posed with many of the statues and that made us laugh a LOT! Then my daddy went on a mission to find me a nice dress for my trip so that I can look GOOD for evening events and PR's! Wow let me tell you what... he did it again... he has such great taste... I love my daddy... so he walked into a cute little boutique (without us girls... we were taking pics still) and talked to the lady that was working there... he asked her "Do you have any dresses in a size 2 that are kinda dressy yet covering?" I think she was shocked that a guy like him would be shopping for DRESSES... in a size two... he explained that he was shopping for me and she said well because you are such a great daddy with the guts to come in here without your girls even then anything on this rack I will give you 70% off... I think she wasnt expecting anything to actually work... well I walked out of there with two dresses that my daddy helped me picked out for an AMAZING DEAL! They are so PRETTY!! Love them so much!

Girls day out on the town!!

Today was a great day... first I started with a couple of hours of work @ the nursery and then Mom, Syd and I headed for G-wood! Shopping Time! We walked downtown and enjoyed all of the cute little boutiques... I love eclectic shops so much! Our ultimate goal was to find a cute little evening dress that I could take on my tour for special dinners and occasions but after trying on many dresses we were unable to find one that really would work... it was kinda sad... BUT we did have success with an amazing purse... what do you think?

AHHH... so cute and it's a Nicole Lee!!
We of course we got hungry after a couple hours of crazy shopping... so we found a great little resturant and found out that we LOVE coconut cream pie... WOW oh WOW it was so YUMMY! We will be going back there before I leave cuz I need to have one last piece of that before I have to eat who knows what while I am away...

YUMMY...

What a cute girl! I am going to miss her face and singing at the top of our lungs together in the car!! I love you Syders!
HAHA "BUTTS" I thought that this was so funny... Syd thought differently...
Well over all a great day and it is going to end with my family and I eating lots of ice cream and cookies while watching SYTYCD!! Love my Life!

One month till China!!!

Guys can you believe that I leave for China in a month? I can't believe it and I don't think it will become real till I am boarding the plane! So since I will be gone for a while I have been researching the many places that I will be traveling to and wow the world is so very interesting! I love learning about other cultures! Wanna know a fun fact or two...
One in every five people is from China!
China invented ICE CREAM... true fact!!
You can get fined or Arrested for chewing GUM in Singapore, Clean Freaks!
There are 200 volcanoes in the Philippines!
The LARGEST flower (Rafflesia Arnoldi) in the WORLD is native to Indonesia!
Bangkok, Thailand holds the record for the longest name of a place... Check this name out...
“Bangkok” is just the short version because the city’s ceremonial name is “Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Yuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit”.
DANG, that is so LONG!!

Hope you enjoyed some of these fun facts that I have found in my research! I am so excited to experience my DREAMS!!
