Girls day out on the town!!

Today was a great day... first I started with a couple of hours of work @ the nursery and then Mom, Syd and I headed for G-wood! Shopping Time! We walked downtown and enjoyed all of the cute little boutiques... I love eclectic shops so much! Our ultimate goal was to find a cute little evening dress that I could take on my tour for special dinners and occasions but after trying on many dresses we were unable to find one that really would work... it was kinda sad... BUT we did have success with an amazing purse... what do you think?

AHHH... so cute and it's a Nicole Lee!!
We of course we got hungry after a couple hours of crazy shopping... so we found a great little resturant and found out that we LOVE coconut cream pie... WOW oh WOW it was so YUMMY! We will be going back there before I leave cuz I need to have one last piece of that before I have to eat who knows what while I am away...

YUMMY...

What a cute girl! I am going to miss her face and singing at the top of our lungs together in the car!! I love you Syders!
HAHA "BUTTS" I thought that this was so funny... Syd thought differently...
Well over all a great day and it is going to end with my family and I eating lots of ice cream and cookies while watching SYTYCD!! Love my Life!

One month till China!!!

Guys can you believe that I leave for China in a month? I can't believe it and I don't think it will become real till I am boarding the plane! So since I will be gone for a while I have been researching the many places that I will be traveling to and wow the world is so very interesting! I love learning about other cultures! Wanna know a fun fact or two...
One in every five people is from China!
China invented ICE CREAM... true fact!!
You can get fined or Arrested for chewing GUM in Singapore, Clean Freaks!
There are 200 volcanoes in the Philippines!
The LARGEST flower (Rafflesia Arnoldi) in the WORLD is native to Indonesia!
Bangkok, Thailand holds the record for the longest name of a place... Check this name out...
“Bangkok” is just the short version because the city’s ceremonial name is “Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Yuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit”.
DANG, that is so LONG!!

Hope you enjoyed some of these fun facts that I have found in my research! I am so excited to experience my DREAMS!!

I am thankful for GREAT friends...

I have been stressing a little bit about what I will be doing with school after my awesome trip and I was able to have a wonderful friend help me out a lot with amazing scriptures that really brought peace to my heart and really made me realize how important the scriptures are and how loving our Heavenly Father really is.

Deuteronomy 4:29-31
29But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
 30When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
31(For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the convant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.

Isaiah 41:10
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

I know that My Heavenly Father loves me and truly cares for me and will help me with anything and everything that comes my way... I am so grateful for the gospel!!! Thank you dear friend (M.G.)!!

All will work out...Just have to have faith

A Whole New World...

This Tuesday I receive a phone call that was very very VERY EXCITING... but I shall start from the beginning! On February 5th I auditioned for Disney Live, which is the same company as Disney on Ice just instead it is on LAND! Well the audition was probably one of the most fun and one of the best auditions that I had ever been to! The casting director told all of the auditionees that she would keeping our audition on file for at most a full year and then shred it once the year mark at arrived if they had not chosen us to go on tour. Well guys... they called on Tuesday morning... I had almost forgotten that I had even auditioned for it!
So you probably want to know all of the details... well here it goes...

I can not wait to travel so much of Asia! What an experienced I have been blessed with!!

So since I will be gone for a little while I have made sure that I will be able to return to BYU by taking off this Fall semester and then registering for an Independent Study Course in January which will give me a full year to complete it while keeping my status as a student. Time is very interesting and it is so amazing how things don't happen for a reason and how other things do happen for a reason.

A week of work...

Well this has been my third week home and I have finally started working to get some good money this summer... Hopefully ;) I am currently working at G.H Daniels, The Landscape Center. I basically do all of the inventory with another girl and inventory basically means counting and marking all of the trees in the yard... oh did I mention there are bout 2000+ trees... yeah a TON! Well we were able to finish all of the rows today 1-66 both A and B sides so that was very rewarding! BUT we are going to have to go back and re-measure every tree to make sure that it is updated with its current tag... grrr frustrating but I just continue to remind myself that I am getting paid AND it's better than sitting behind a desk answering phones all day... I get to see the beautiful SUN and nature... ooo and my favorite... LADY BUGS!!!

Then today finally came... it was a pretty warm day which was nice and I was able to accomplish a ton...
got a sun burn on my face and head but oh well I guess! By the end of the day I was able to use my creative side and decorate the green house with some of our trees and plants and flowers... that was a refreshing job to do since I have been doing inventory all week long... check it out...
So much better than before... can't wait till all the flowers bloom!

Pretty Poppy!

The cute little green house at the Nursery!

Well tomorrow will be a long day first training at Loaf and Jug and then back to the nursery for some more inventory... yuck but as I have said before... $$$$!

Those that are following my blog... hehehe thanks and stay tooned for important news next week! It's the BIG trip!

Hmmm... Just Thinking and Updating

What a wonderful weekend I had with my Mother and Father and especially my great friends Garrett Carter and Donovan Chambers! We went up to Fulford Friday evening and we were all so excited to see the snow! And wow we were in for a great treat... there was about 4 feet up there and then while we were up there we got between 16-20 more inches... oh man it was incredible! Perfect riding snow... with a solid layer and then nice fresh powder on top! Heaven on Earth, basically! We had yummy food up at the cabin like always (everything taste better up there) and watched great movies too!

Look at all this snow!

Saturday morning the guys and I went riding out in Triangle Park and wow it was so amazing! I love snowmobiling so much... my favorite is going really fast and praticing turns in the deep snow. Then after riding for a long while we all got very tired and sore so we decided to call it a day BUT we had to dig a hole and see how deep the snow really was and then take pictures of course!

About Five Feet DEEP!

My Daddy and I :)

Well after that fun adventure up at our Happy Place, it was time to say goodbye to my amazing friends (brothers) because they had a long travel all the way back to Columbus, OH. I really will miss them a ton and it will be a while till I see them again because they will be putting their papers in to go on missions just like many of my other fellow friends... uhhh I am not going to have any guy friends next Fall... what will I do... oh yeah homework and dance like always... but I will really miss these guys because they truly did take care of me while I was in Provo this year!

So now since I have been home for about 2 weeks I have really had the opportunity to think on some things and try to make decisions in my head... decisions like... do I want to go to Spain? Will it be beneficial? Do I want to go in the Spring or Fall? Do I want to continue the dance major? Do I want to continue the Spanish minor? Do I want to serve a mission in the next couple of years? There are even more questions I have that I need answers for but for now I guess these are some of the main ones... I know that I can only find answer to these questions by maintain communication with the Lord and by studying my scriptures MORE! Oh man growing up is so scary to me... all these decisions to make that impact your life so much... it kinda stresses me out... I am such a future thinker... sometimes I just wish (but dont really) that I would know what major to do, who to marry, where to work, when to have kids (that is a while from now so not too worried about this one) where to live, and so on and so on! Ya know??!!?? But thank goodness for agency because we have the choice to choose things in our life and as long as we stay close to our Heavenly Father we will make it through everything that comes our way both good times and bad. I am so grateful for his plan!! Well for now that is all that is on my mind that I am willing to write about so more for later I guess...

~Always thinking...
